IBPSA-USA is the United States regional affiliate of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA). The mission of IBPSA-USA is to advance and promote the science of building simulation in order to improve the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of new and existing buildings in the United States.

Building Energy Modeling Book of Knowledge (BEMBOOK) - IBPSA-USA has started a Building Energy Modeling Book of Knowledge (BEMBOOK) wiki. The intention is to delineate a cohesive body of knowledge for building energy simulation. The wiki will be undergoing intensive initial development in the upcoming months. The wiki can be found at http://bembook.ibpsa.us/ Individuals or groups interested in contributing to the effort should contact Joe Deringer at jderinger@su-per-b.org.

Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP) certification - ASHRAE announces Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP) certification, developed in collaboration with IBPSA-USA. The first test was given January 27, 2010 in Orlando. See www.ashrae.org/BEMP.
