The TRNSYS Workshop at SimBuild2010 will cover the conceptual basics of the flexible energy and building simulation software. The concepts associated with simulation of multizone buildings in TRNSYS such as the input data, rudimentary physics of the building model, and analysis of results will be addressed. The workshop will demonstrate the new 3D multizone building model with the Google Sketchup ™ plugin. Tips and tricks from TRNSYS experts will also be demonstrated and discussed. In its 35 years of existence, TRNSYS has remained an excellent tool for building simulation research, and the TRNSYS Workshop will provide a level of familiarity to continue this tradition.
