How do I log in and edit / maintain our Chapter mini-website?

Does the voting process need to be open to the registered IBPSA-Boston chapter members or only to the current board members?

The voting process should be open to the entire set of registered IBPSA-USA-Boston chapter members.

There are a couple of the current board members that are planning to volunteer for new positions in the new board. Are they allowed to be part of the voting process?

I see no reason to exclude the current board members from the voting process, unless there is some explicit conflict of interest. Otherwise, these board members should be allowed to be part of the voting process. Perhaps you would want to describe more about why you are asking this question?

You mentioned that minutes are supposed to be taken. Can you be more specific?

If you have meetings about the voting process, you should document in “ minutes” of the meeting the key decisions made and the text of motions voted on, and the voting results. Such minutes can be quite short.

Are there any written documents on the election process?

Not yet, to my knowledge, but they would be useful. We will put it on the “to do” list for the Chapters committee of IBPSA-USA.
