This chapter was given initial approval for formation by IBPSA-USA on November 16, 2010. The mission of the IBPSA-USA National Capital Regional Region chapter is to bring together organizations from many sectors of the built environment to determine ways that building simulation can help address current energy and indoor environmental quality (IEQ) challenges. Our goal is to provide networking and educational opportunities for interested building simulation professionals in and around Washington DC.
