The much anticipated crossover event is here for 2020! Please join the IBPSA-USA Wisconsin Chapter and Madison Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) for a night of networking, tasting, and science enlightenment at Delta Beer Lab on February 21st. For the educational content, there will be a presentation by IBPSA-USA Wisconsin Committee Member, David Bradley, on a brewery simulation project that he championed, and there will also be a tour of the brewery. Delta Beer Lab is a fairly new brewery in Madison that is not only science-themed but also has a sustainable business model that supports social and environmental causes.

The tentative event schedule is as follows:

5:30-6:00pm Arrive & Networking

Registration includes two Delta Beers or other beverages (soda, gf beer, kombucha, or hard seltzer). This event registration is free for Madison ASHRAE YEA members; however, there is a small registration fee for IBPSA-USA members and general attendees.

Speaker Bio:

David Bradley of Thermal Energy System Specialists:

David joined TESS in 2001 after serving as the technical coordinator of the TRNSYS program at the University of Wisconsin. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Swarthmore College and a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin. David has served as principal investigator on numerous energy modeling projects and serves as the liaison to the international TRNSYS development community. He has taught simulation science around the world and in multiple languages. When he is not running simulations, you might find David blacksmithing, playing with the Madison Pipes and Drums, cooking ethnic cuisine, and coaching youth sports.
