What Happens at IMPEL
At the one-day IMPEL pitch-coaching workshops, innovators receive hands-on coaching from expert IMPEL Coaches––successful Silicon Valley executives who have raised funds, built teams, invested in startups, and taken technologies to market. You explore potential pathways, articulate a roadmap and critical audience for your project towards entrepreneurship, or even 'intrapreneurship' within your organization.
Using storyboarding, live-coaching, on-camera training, and interactive exercises, IMPEL coaches you to develop and communicate a clear, succinct, and compelling value proposition of your idea with authenticity and confidence. You gain a market-propelled entrepreneurial mindset to drive towards skills, funding, teams, and resources for your projects, and to be a valuable asset to your research group and team.
Highly evolved pitches are selected for the IMPEL National Showcase at the DOE BTO Peer Review on May 4-7, 2020 in Arlington, Virginia.
