IBPSA-USA Summer Meeting in Houston
IBPSA-USA cordially invites you to our 2018 Summer Meeting in Houston! Come join us at El Big Bad Margarita Bar + Kitchen to share and discuss IBPSA-USA news, and enjoy the technical presentation for the evening:
How Good are They? Early Results from Empirical Validation of Simulation Software
Philip Haves of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will present new results of research at LBNL's FlexLab facility, in which simulation results are being compared to a highly-monitored reality. This work is part of a larger project on simulation validation and uncertainty with participants from LBNL, ORNL, NREL and Argonne National Laboratory. Phil will also explain the important difference between uncertainty and variability, as a lead-in to an open discussion of causes of differences between simulation predictions and measured performance.
