Nov. 5 Deadline for IBPSA-USA Board Nominations

The deadline for IBPSA-USA Board Nominations is November 5, 2018.

Members of the IBPSA-USA Board of Directors serve two-year terms. Nominations are now being accepted through November 5, 2018 for the upcoming 2019-2021 term. All fourteen board seats are open for election, as the full board is re-elected each cycle. 

The election will take place between December 3 and January 12, 2019, and the new Board will be announced at the IBPSA-USA Winter Meeting in Atlanta on January 12, 2019.

All members interested in serving on the board (or wishing to nominate someone) must submit a brief candidate's statement (150 words) and a CV/resume by November 5, 2018. Nominees must be current IBPSA-USA members. To confirm membership, search our member database at Not a member? Sign-up here.

After the nomination period, a slate of candidates will be created and the voting period will be open from Dec. 3, 2018 to Jan 12, 2019.

We will provide IBPSA-USA members with three options to vote:

  • Online via Zoho forms
  • Email - just send the names of your top 12 choices from the slate of candidates to [email protected] with the subject line IBPSA-USA Election
  • Mail/ Hand deliver to: 5356 Locksley Ave. Oakland, CA 94618
  • At the January 12, 2019 meeting: ballots will be available for last minute paper voting.

After voting closes, the votes are tallied from online, email and paper submissions and the new Board will be announced at the IBPSA-USA Winter Meeting in Atlanta. We'll also share the results on our website, email list, and social media.
