See How You Can Contribute to Project StaSIO

As a advocate of performance-based design, have you ever wanted a library of simulation graphics to help you show off the value of energy and daylight modeling? The IBPSA-USA research committee recently launched the crowd-sourced Project StaSIO website to aggregate compelling, beautiful, and clear simulation output graphics. The graphics are categorized by simulation type, ASHRAE 209 cycle, and even by investigation question.

For instance, if you wanted to see an example of how a graphic could answer the question, "What is the Impact of different blind controlstrategies on illuminance over the course of an average day?" check out the Project StaSIO 'Functional Daylight' section.

Have a graphic that you want to contribute? IBPSA-USA has launched a competition to help catalyze Project StaSIO submissions and advance this free resource to the simulation community. Winners will be announced at the 2018 Building Performance AnalysisConference.
