This is the third webinar of a 3-part series about passive house design.

Ilana Judah presents a slightly bigger picture perspective of industry trends with passive house standards for tall buildings. She reviews the findings of the FXFOWLE’s NYSERDA-funded study entitled, “Feasibility of Implementing the Passivhaus Standard for Tall Residential Buildings."

Lois Arena has been leading projects to meet the Passive House Standard since the rating system’s debut in the US. She has guided some of the industry’s most notable Passive House projects, including Cornell Tech’s residential tower and 425 Grand Concourse. In this webinar, Lois demonstrates challenges and solutions applied through real-world case studies, as well as review calculation methods and energy modeling inputs needed to comply with the standard.
