This is a recording of an IBPSA-USA webinar held on May 24, 2018. The deadline for participating in the Project StaSIO competition is coming! The deadline for submissions is May 31st, and the top submissions will be invited to present their work at the 2018 Building Performance Analysis Conference and SimBuild co-organized by ASHRAE and IBPSA-USA. If you’re interested in participating in the competition, join IBPSA-USA’s Architectural Simulations Subcommittee members for this webinar as they explain Project StaSIO, and highlight the key features of a successful competition entry. A submission to StaSIO is also a prerequisite for participation in the Low Down Showdown, so you should view this webinar to learn more.
Project StaSIO has been developed by IBPSA-USA’s Architectural Simulations subcommittee. It is an online website populated with crowd-sourced simulation graphics and case studies organized around the ASHRAE 209 framework. The objective of this competition is to catalyze crowd-sourced submissions to Project StaSIO through execution of an online competition for Project StaSIO’s two forms of submissions: 1) Graphic Outputs and 2) Case Studies. The webinar will provide some background on the project and its objectives.
For individuals and organizations interested in participating in the competition, the webinar will also discuss the competition guidelines and rules.
More information on the competition can be found here.
