We offer in-person public and private (in-house or webinar) training workshops for the EnergyPlus simulation engine, as well as two of its interfaces: OpenStudio and DesignBuilder. We are licensed through the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as official training providers for OpenStudio, and we are authorized through DesignBuilder Software (UK) as the official training providers for DesignBuilder in the US. Being part of the EnergyPlus Development Team, we leverage our many years of experience providing support and software tools for EnergyPlus in order to create effective training workshops. We focus on teaching input object rules from the ground up with a healthy dose of hands-on exercises to build “muscle memory” and retain new skills for long-term use. We arm you with mental models that provide structure and make EnergyPlus easier to learn, as well as lay out the helpful resources that are at your disposal after the workshop ends so that you can teach yourself new information.
