Join us for our upcoming event

Un-Conference 2019

Did you attend the IBPSA-World Building Simulation 2019 conference in Rome or the 2019 ASHRAE Building Performance Analysis Conference (BPAC) in Denver and see some really interesting things that you want to share?  Did you miss the conferences but want to catch up on what you missed? The IBPSA-USA Denver chapter is hosting a 2019 Un-Conference to recap all the new and exciting work going on in the building energy modeling world. We are looking for volunteers to talk for 5 minutes about their favorite conference experience (conference talk, modeling competition, vendor demos, anything else) that they themselves did not present. If you are willing to volunteer for one of these slots please send an email to Aaron Boranian at [email protected] so that we can coordinate the talks. If you didn’t go but are interested in hearing about a particular topic, please let us know what you want to hear about.

Research into the next generation of simulation tools and techniques is being carried out at universities, but much of this information is not transferred to the practitioners. For this SimClub event, graduate students from the University of Colorado-Boulder and the Colorado School of Mines will give short summaries of their current research projects.

Indoor cannabis cultivation requires precise temperature and humidity control for a successful harvest, in addition to consuming a substantial amount of energy.

April 19, 2018

The process of building performance simulation is often a time consuming task. Significant time can be spent building the model, running/tuning/troubleshooting, and finally reporting results.
