Are you working on a new construction or major renovation project that has specific performance requirements, like net zero, or a target energy usage intensity (EUI)? Are you uncertain about the future of long-term data stored on Energy Star Portfolio Manager? Illinois Green Alliance, in collaboration with Baumann Consulting and supported by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), invites you to join us for an in-person hands-on training session on RETScreen Expert, a widely used, globally-applicable, existing building-focused analytical software tool developed by the Canadian government to both manage energy use and develop energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Through this course, you will: – Learn to benchmark your building performance data using RETScreen directly from utility bills or using the Energy Star Portfolio Manager Connector feature This training is eligible to self-report for 3 CE hours to Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). |

Hardik Miyani is the Energy & Decarbonization Manager at Baumann Consulting, where he leads efforts in energy efficiency, commissioning, and retro-commissioning. With over eight years of experience, he provides sustainable solutions that align with the “Triple Bottom Line” — cutting costs, reducing emissions, and improving occupant health. A licensed PE and CEM with a Master’s in Energy Engineering from UIC, Hardik has earned national and international recognition, including 30 Under 30 in Energy and Under 40 in Commissioning. He also contributes to industry advancement through editorial, committee, and fellowship roles focused on global decarbonization.

Hiten Chhajed
Hiten is an Energy & Decarbonization Project Manager with over 7 years of experience in the energy efficiency industry, focusing on facility condition assessments and energy audits. He has worked with different utilities such as Rocky Mountain Power and PG&E on their incentive programs for various industrial and commercial clients. Additionally, Hiten is one of the first 100 ASHRAE Certified Decarbonization Professionals (CDP) to achieve that distinction worldwide.
