IBPSA Mixa: Infiltration-the good, the bad, the ugly

Lisa Ng – Dr. Lisa Ng is a Mechanical Engineer in the Indoor Air Quality and Ventilation Group at NIST and has over 10 years of experience in research in airflow and indoor air quality performance in buildings. Lisa has been a member of IBPSA-USA since 2020 and has received the IBPSA-USA Emerging Contributor Award for her work in developing improved methods for incorporating infiltration into energy models. Her other research interests include applying multizone airflow and indoor air quality (IAQ) models to a range of building performance issues. Lisa is also an ASHRAE member, serving on TC2.8 Building Environmental Impacts and Sustainability, the Ventilation Subcommittee of SSPC 62.1., and TC9.12 Tall Buildings. She is active in mentoring students through several programs at NIST.
