IBPSA-USA Boston Chapter Presents: Phius 101 and WUFI Modeling
With passive building certification as an option for the new Massachusetts stretch code, Phius staff member Al Mitchell will explain passive building, Phius Certification Criteria, and provide an overview of energy modeling in WUFI Passive.

Al Mitchell currently works at Phius. He works in technical capacities, ranging from research to project certification. Recently he has been researching thermal resilience and passive survivability modeling. Al holds degrees in architectural engineering and architecture, and is in the process of obtaining his PhD from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Architectural Engineering.
