IBPSA-USA Seattle Chapter | Volunteering at the Hope Factory
Join us for a hands-on volunteer experience at The Hope Factory! Work in small teams of 2–3 to help build tiny homes that provide shelter and hope. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or it’s your first time picking up a hammer, their guided system makes it easy for everyone to contribute. Come ready to learn new skills, collaborate, and make a meaningful impact in our community.
Volunteer Information:
What to Wear:
Closed-toed, stable, comfortable shoes that cover your feet are required. No heels, sandals, crocs, flip flops, etc.
Shorts are permitted if you like.
Our warehouse is not heated or cooled, so please dress appropriately. Whatever the temp is outside, expect that inside, too. But hey, at least it’s dry!
For safety, come prepared to tie up or tuck long hair. Also, strings on hoodies, dangling necklaces, or anything else that hangs away from your body will need to be removed or secured for safety.
What to Bring:
Bring your own work gloves if you can, please.
Please leave your own tools at home.
No matter what you do, please come prepared to paint.
